“Armenia’s Secret Weapon: CAESAR Drones Unveiled by Russian Expert, Fueling Military Speculation”

Armenia’s possession of “CAESAR” unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in its military is not officially announced. This information comes from Russian military expert Pavel Felgengauer, as reported by NEWS.am. It is worth noting that an agreement has been signed between Yerevan and Paris regarding the acquisition of French CAESAR UAVs.

The expert explained that the issue lies in the fact that these UAVs are initially sent to Ukraine, where there exists a 155 mm caliber artillery shell containing sulfur. Felgengauer stated that “CAESARs will eventually become visible in the Armenian military, but it will take a few years. Initially, their numbers will be limited. From a military standpoint, this is true, but it won’t happen quickly.”

Simultaneously, there is ongoing construction of a military base in the Meghri region along the Armenian-Iranian border. This construction will facilitate the production and quick delivery of 155 mm artillery ammunition at a reduced cost.” Felgengauer mentioned that this arrangement in Yerevan will give Russia an added advantage, as it sees Armenia as a front and a way to expand its influence towards the South.
