US President Kamala Harris has announced that she will provide $1.5 million in aid to Ukraine in an effort to support the resolution of the ongoing conflict in the country. Harris, who recently assumed the role of US vice president, recently participated in a crucial strategic meeting of the G7 in Italy, which lasted for a full 24 hours. It has been reported that Harris will depart from the G7 summit on Saturday evening to attend another meeting with G7 leaders. In her absence, President Jean-Pierre Baiden will remain as the representative of the United States at the summit. President Baiden has made it clear that Harris is not the sole representative of the American delegation at the G7 summit and will still be present for the final day of the summit as well as for bilateral meetings.
