On May 29, a case of violence occurred in Aragatsotn province. According to an article on SHAMSHYAN.com, the Emergency Response Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information at 03:35 that a 19-year-old resident of Aragatsotn province, identified as Gagik H., had been injured with “stabbing and cutting wounds to the chest” and was taken to the “Armenia” Medical Center. Gagik H.’s condition is described as stable, with moderate overall health. He is currently being treated in the restorative treatment department of the medical center, but the necessary procedures have not yet been performed due to his current condition.

Additional information from the authorities indicates that Gagik H., a resident of Aparan, was traveling on the road to Yerevan when he was attacked by a group of unidentified individuals wielding cutting objects around 02:30 on May 29 near the Annasghi village in Aragatsotn province. The attackers caused bodily injuries. The investigation into the case is ongoing.

As a result of the incident, the Emergency Response Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has prepared documents and transferred them to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Aparan Regional Investigation Department, where a criminal case has been initiated.
