France, Germany, and Great Britain have condemned Iran’s recent steps to expand its nuclear program. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran has violated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the safeguards of its peaceful nuclear program. Iran has installed advanced centrifuges at the Natanz enrichment facility and plans to install another thousand centrifuges at the Fordow and Natanz facilities. The three countries stated in a joint statement that this decision signifies a significant and dangerous escalation by Iran’s nuclear program.
