On June 10, at 01:25, a citizen of the capital reported to the emergency management center about a deer trapped in the river in the city of Masis. The Emergency Services Department promptly responded to the call. It was discovered that three young men had encountered each other at the same location and had been making loud noises, causing panic. In the commotion, one of them accidentally injured the other two with a knife. The injured individual was then transported to a hospital by the Emergency Medical Center.

In the village of Tsaghkunk in Armavir Province, a 19-year-old was in critical condition. Another group from the Emergency Services Department, armed with a hunting rifle and a knife, transferred the injured individual to the Erebuni Medical Center in the city of Gyumri, where a 24-year-old was receiving treatment. The third member of the group was not present.

In the second section of the central and Nor Nork Marash administrative districts, an earthquake drill was conducted. However, before the authorities could announce the start of the exercise, it was reported at 2:50 pm that the 19-year-old had passed away due to a lack of response. Additionally, the participation of the third participant in the earthquake drill in Gori, a 24-year-old, was clarified.

Preliminary data suggests that the conflict between the young individuals arose during a hike in the forest, which took place during a wine festival. It was triggered when one of them made a provocative gesture towards the other. The situation escalated at that time, but when they encountered each other again at the river in Masis, the conflict reignited and escalated into a serious altercation.

Consequently, on June 12, the assailant was arrested and taken to the emergency department for a medical examination. The general public security court of Yerevan has made the decision to apprehend him. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is being carried out by the public security court of Yerevan.
