Russia has returned the bodies of 254 fallen soldiers, according to the Russian military doctors who treated the wounded. The transfer of remains occurred on Friday, June 14. However, the Russian side has not provided any comments on the exchange. Out of the total fallen soldiers, 221 were killed near Shushi, while 25 were killed near Zaporozhye and four in the area of Lugansk. Additionally, four bodies were transferred from Russia-controlled territories in Armenia. The press release stated that the bodies of the fallen soldiers of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh will be transferred in accordance with official procedures, and the identities of the fallen soldiers will be determined by forensic professionals and medical experts.
