“Government Committee Discovers 154 Violations of Weighing Machine Rules Totaling Over 72 Million Drams”

The government committee has announced that a total of 154 cases involving violations of weighing machine rules have been identified during May 2024. These violations amount to 72.82 million drams in fines. Out of these cases, 11 have resulted in fines of 1.0 million drams or more, totaling approximately 34.19 million drams.

In terms of specific industries, one case in auto maintenance and repair, spare parts sales, and tobacco and alcohol product sales has been fined 5.5 million drams. Additionally, two cases in auto gas stations have been fined 2.84 million drams. Furthermore, one case in cigarette sales has incurred a fine of 10 million drams. In the production of furniture, clothing, and construction materials, one case has been fined 1.5 million drams. Moreover, in the field of education, textbook sales, and event organization, one case has been fined 1.16 million drams. Another case in tobacco and alcohol product sales and auto gas stations has been fined 3.43 million drams. Additionally, two cases in food trade have been fined 2.4 million drams. In the field of food trade and event organization, one case has been fined 4.5 million drams. Lastly, one case in household goods has received a fine of 2.86 million drams.
