During the weekly briefing in the Japanese embassy on June 13th, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, was asked to comment on Moscow’s hopes of resolving differences with Yerevan regarding the change of power and visits of Russian representatives to Armenia.

“First of all, actions related to the internal political life of a sovereign state are not interference, but rather the internal work of that particular government,” said Zakharova. She also added that Armenia does not have any objections to the international contacts of the Russian authorities.
