“US Expert Optimistic: Possibility of Peace Agreement Between Yerevan and Baku as Russia Faces Challenges”

There is a possibility of signing a peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku, as Russia is facing difficulties that may not be resolved within a year, so there is a window of opportunity for peace. We are currently working towards that goal. Jaymes O’Brien, a US expert, announced this in an interview with “Azatutyun” radio, which was given to draw the attention of the US administration.

“Russia wants to say that when it wins in Ukraine, it will return to Georgia, but Russia does not win in Ukraine and does not return to Georgia, which has been going on for a long time,” he said.

According to the US expert, Armenia’s relations with Russia will strengthen, and the military cooperation between the two countries will increase.

O’Brien explained that this means working with Armenia to revive its leadership, security, for example, its existence, and its armed forces, and to disrupt destructive diversification.

“Armenia must be able to make an independent decision and not depend on Russia,” he said.

These are the conditions under which we will continue to work. We have cooperation with Azerbaijan, which is also very promising and constructive, and we will work with both sides, which will be happy to help financially or in business, in order to benefit from the existing opportunities in the region of the game, if a peace agreement is signed. We are ready to work in all those ways that will help each other’s partners.

Armenia and the Republic of Armenia are closer to the European Union and the common market. According to the agreement, Central Asia will be able to enter the markets of Russia or China without hindrance, which will be a new opportunity. We are actively supporting this opportunity,” O’Brien said, using the term “Silk Road”.
