Abraham Gasparian, the founder of the Genesis Armenia Mental Health Center, was violently assaulted by individuals wearing red masks, resulting in severe injuries. During an interview, Gasparian and his lawyer, Tigran Grigoryan, expressed their shock and disbelief at the violation of his rights. Currently, Gasparian is in custody without any criminal charges, while the Red Masks remain free to act. This injustice has prompted an investigation in collaboration with a medical center to determine the extent of the injuries and any progress made. The Red Masks have also targeted journalists and activists, causing further physical harm.

The Assistant Prosecutor, Aram Hovhannisyan, acknowledged that the victims suffered serious injuries from the direct aggression by the Red Masks. Even individuals within the Red Masks’ circle have been injured. The Ministry of Healthcare reported that 79 civilians and activists sought medical assistance following the incidents in the Baghramyan area. They are currently receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Among the injured, one patient with hand fractures is undergoing surgery, while others with minor injuries do not require hospitalization. This ongoing situation has sparked public concern and condemnation, with supporters demanding justice and accountability for the perpetrators. The investigation will play a crucial role in shedding light on the truth and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable.
