“Save Tavush, Save the Homeland: Vigil in Baghramyan Square as Civil Disobedience Movement Gains Momentum”

The members of the “Save Tavush, Save the Homeland” movement, citizens, and supporters of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, led by Mayor Bagrat Arkhipiskopos Galstanyan, held an overnight vigil in Baghramyan Square. In the meantime, protest actions of civil disobedience have been taking place in different parts of Yerevan since yesterday morning.

It is important to note that Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the “Save Tavush, Save the Homeland” movement, previously emphasized the need for different actions to occur in various locations.

During a briefing with reporters, movement member and spokesperson Garegin Danielyan stated that protesters are closely following the actions that have been taking place and providing support.

Authorities are resorting to the use of force in an attempt to suppress our programs. They are even trying to shut down our social networks.
