“Religious Leaders and President of Armenia Hold Crucial Meeting to Address National Challenges and Unify Armenian Community”

On June 10, the Supreme Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicos Karekin II, and the President of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Armenian Evangelical (NSSA) Church, Bishop Nathan Hovhannisian, along with Bishop Vahan Grigorian, the Head of the Episcopal Church of Armenia, and NSSA Moderator, Reverend Taniel Barsamian, welcomed Armen Sarkissian, the President of the Republic of Armenia, on his visit to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

According to NEWS.am, the meeting focused on discussing the various security challenges faced by the country, as well as the political and socio-economic situation in Armenia. The participants emphasized the importance of maintaining the unity and solidarity of the Armenian people and consolidating the Armenian community worldwide. The urgent issues related to the protection and development of national treasures were also addressed.

The meeting was attended by Arman Kirakossian, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Eastern Europe and the Vatican, and Archbishop Geghard Kajagetsi Parsamian, the representative of the Catholicos of All Armenians in the Vatican, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
