“NA Speaker Alen Simonyan Calls Out Opposition Representative: ‘Our Struggle and Criticism Are Not Personal'”

I am happy to announce that today, June 11, the speaker of the parliament, Alen Simonyan, made an important statement. He began by reflecting on the origin of everything, which started at the Baghramyan Avenue State Theater. Simonyan mentioned how he first distributed something to Tavush, then to the villages of Tavush, followed by Kirants and the church. Then, he brought it to Yerevan and realized that everything was part of a preconceived plan. Simonyan then questioned why Bagrat Galstanyan, who holds a Canadian citizenship, refuses to give it up despite the benefits he would gain by doing so.

Simonyan emphasized that being a Canadian citizen is not the main issue, but rather Galstanyan’s decision to hold on to his mandate and not leave the Dashnaktsutyun party, which he claims is responsible for significant crimes in Armenia. Simonyan disagreed with the representative of the “Armenia” bloc, Garnik Danielyan, and urged him to step down from his position and the faction. He stressed that their struggle and criticism are not personal.

Known for his narratives on migration and the struggles of Hispanic communities.
