The Constitutional Court has accepted the appeal of the Judicial Court of Cassation, regarding the review of the decisions made by Yuri Khachaturov, Seran Ohanyan, and Robert Kocharyan. The appeal is currently in the litigation phase, with the next session scheduled for July 22. The Department of Public Relations of the Constitutional Court provided this information to “Lurer.” The appeal is being considered under the general procedure, and its basis goes back to 1998 when the code of criminal procedure, which did not allow the reversal of the indictment in the Constitutional Court, was in effect. The Judicial Court of Cassation has decided to examine a series of articles of this code to determine their conformity with the Constitution.
