“Gegham Nazaryan Accuses Anonymous Rival of Being Sponsored in Explosive Interview: Promises to Reveal Secrets in Memoir”

Gegham Nazaryan, the spokesperson for the ‘Armenia’ alliance, shared his opinion in an interview with the ‘Aravot’ newspaper. He claimed that his anonymous rival is receiving sponsorship, stating, “I know who they are, but I won’t disclose their names. However, I will write about it in my memoir. I don’t want them to leave the country in shame.” Nazaryan expressed his concern about false information circulating, such as allegations of receiving money from Nikol Pashinyan or Seyran Ohanyan wanting to flee the country for financial gain. He emphasized the need for a less intense campaign and clarified that he never made certain statements attributed to him.

In response to a question regarding road closures, Nazaryan revealed that he was not surprised that authorities did not close the road in Gyumri. He heard from people that there was resentment in the air, but he did not agree with those who claimed his personal guard had crossed a line at the school. However, he questioned whether he understood his position when seeing the boundary of the road.

When asked if he demanded an apology from Nikol Pashinyan, Nazaryan replied, “That is an unreachable truth. Not only am I not in conflict with Nikol, but I have an amicable relationship with him. But I did express to him that people perceive him as my enemy. If Nikol was not my friend, my brother, I would have fought too, because there are responsibilities that come with our resources. This perception cannot be changed.” He also dismissed suggestions about his appearance, noting that he has evolved over the years and does not need to conform to certain expectations.

In response to queries about a conversation with Nikol Pashinyan, Nazaryan mentioned having met him early on and that his Abgar informed him about Pashinyan’s interest. However, Pashinyan did not discuss it or express it in his capacity as the prime minister. For more detailed information, refer to the NEWS.am website.
