CEC Members Gain Insights on Estonian Election System: Observing European Parliament Elections

Members of the Central Election Commission of Armenia, Arusyak Terchanyan and Zhirayr Karapetyan, recently traveled to Tallinn, Estonia from June 6 to 10. Their purpose in visiting Estonia was to observe the elections of the European Parliament.

According to a report from NEWS.am, the delegates from Armenia’s CEC were specifically invited to visit the electoral administration room of Estonia’s Republic. During their visit, they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Estonia’s electoral system, the organization of elections, visit polling stations, and closely follow the calculation process.

The CEC members eagerly took part in this exchange of knowledge and experiences, gaining valuable insights into Estonia’s election procedures and practices. Such international visits are essential for fostering collaboration and learning from each other’s best practices in the field of elections.
