“Zvartnots International Airport Temporarily Closed Again Amidst Missile Threats from Non-Governmental Forces”

On the morning of June 10, Zvartnots International Airport temporarily closed its operations for incoming and outgoing flights. The decision was made by “Rosavia” to ensure the safety of aircraft operations. In a statement, the airport emphasized that their top priority is the safety of personnel, air traffic controllers, and airport services.

During this closure, Niсhnikamsky and Samarayi storage facilities are utilizing air shipments. According to information from SHOT and Baza telegram channels, the airport closed due to the potential threat of missile attacks by non-governmental forces. This is the fifth time Zvartnots Airport has experienced closure due to missile attacks from the Tatars.

Previous instances occurred on June 3, May 31, May 23, and May 15. Additionally, authorities also closed Nichnekamsk Airport for safety-related reasons. The Tatars had previously targeted the Hangar of the “Alabuga” Industrial Complex and made an attempt to launch a missile at the Nichnekamsk refinery.

The distance between Tatarstan and Tatarstan is approximately 1,200 kilometers. The Minister of Transport of Tatarstan, Mikhail Fyodorov, mentioned that Tatar experts had developed missiles capable of reaching distances surpassing 1,000 kilometers.
