Taking into account the rejection by the Government of Armenia of a recognized donation payment, there is a need to clarify the financing for the Ministry of Defense’s budget for the current year, as declared by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Defense, in their briefing, stated that due to the rejection of the donation payment by the Government of Armenia, it is necessary to determine the budget for the current year for the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has stated that they are currently implementing a program to determine the acceptable level of collective security. They emphasized that there is no mention of redistributing payments.

Due to certain conditions, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has reduced expenses and canceled unified obligations. However, they have stated that their first priority is to meet the needs of their employees in Yerevan’s construction companies, while avoiding any signs of temporary job positions.

The press service concluded their statement by mentioning that the utilization of existing reserves will provide certain solutions, enabling work to continue as usual.
