In a meeting with journalists on June 10th, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, emphasized the importance of national consolidation in this phase of the movement. He expressed his belief that the Velvet Revolution has been successful thus far, attributing its success to the consolidation of society. Karapetyan highlighted the achievements and changes brought about by the movement, as well as the widespread support it has received. However, he also stressed the need for more than patriotic speeches, suggesting that political discussions and concrete steps are necessary to ensure the movement’s implementation and safeguard national security and power.
