“Armenia and India Forge Strong Economic Alliance: Promising Opportunities in Agriculture, Healthcare, Textiles, and More”

The meeting between representatives of Armenia’s entrepreneurs and businessmen and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India took place on July 8 in Yerevan. The main goal of the meeting was to enhance bilateral economic relations between Armenia and India. During the meeting, Nerses Karmanukyan, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, highlighted the potential for cooperation between the two countries in various sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, textiles, and food production. He mentioned the successful implementation of Indian water filtering technology in Armenia to address water cleaning issues. Tamal Nandu, the director of the Indian Trade Palace in Armenia, also emphasized the significant potential of the 100-year-old Indian Trade Palace and the need for regular informative events and conferences to promote collaboration with commercial associations. The meeting concluded with the signing of a cooperation protocol between Nerses Karmanukyan and Tamal Nandu, fostering mutual agreements and opportunities for Armenian and Indian businessmen.
