“Russia Unveils the Su-57: The Most Advanced Fighter Jets Now Deployed on Home Turf”

Russian Tu-57 fighters have been spotted within Russia’s territory, according to RBC-Ukraine. The Su-57 is Russia’s most advanced fighter, and it has recently been deployed for the first time in Russia by the leadership of the HGV. The deployment took place at the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan region, which is approximately 589 kilometers away from the front line.

The HGV has released aerial photographs, showing the Su-57 in the airspace of the airfield on June 7. On June 8, there were reports of explosions and various fire incidents. This marks the first successful use of the Su-57 since the start of large-scale combat, as confirmed by the Russian military.

The Su-57 is a multipurpose fighter designed by Russia. It is fifth in the series of fighter jets produced by Russia. However, analysts have pointed out that the Su-57 does not fully meet the official characteristics of a fifth-generation fighter.

This fighter is capable of destroying all types of airborne targets, conducting chases, intercepting long-range air operations, evading enemy air defense systems, and performing tasks related to electronic warfare. To ensure the aircraft remains hidden, its thermal supply, missile, and opponent’s operation control systems are removed.

The Su-57 made its first flight in January 2010. In 2019, Russia announced the start of serial production of these airplanes, and in 2020, the first serial Su-57 was launched.
