On June 6, at 22:05, the Shirak regional rescue service center received information that a car had fallen into the river after going off the Shirak-Jajur road.

According to the National Crisis Management Center, the incident took place along the Shirak-Armenia-Jajur highway, and there is one person reported missing.

It appears that a Mercedes-Benz car (driven by A.Kh., born in 1975) veered off the road at the 10th kilometer of the Gumri-Vanadzor highway, ultimately ending up in a field and sinking into the river.

Both the driver and his passenger N.G. (born in 1996) were hospitalized before the arrival of the rescuers. Unfortunately, A.Kh. passed away on the way to the hospital.

The accident was reported at 22:30 and officially registered at 22:34. The Mercedes-Benz has been successfully recovered.
