The newspaper “Zhoghovurd” reports that there is an ongoing “war of words” between the leaders of the NSS (National Security Service) and the Prime Minister. The NSS leaders, who have recently been highly critical of the government’s actions, are now expressing their dissatisfaction with Anahit Avanesyan, the new head of the NSS. According to the information provided by the “Zhoghovurd” newspaper, during a recent meeting between the NSS officials and the NH (National Assembly) leadership, they received a cold reception and were even scolded. Avanesyan faced questions from members of the NH during a session, and in response, she expressed her confusion, stating that the government’s decision to increase the NH’s budget and expand its scope had already been implemented. She also tried to be open and honest, claiming that she was a “good director.” These words of hers have become a popular joke-like statement, similar to a famous line from a national song called “I am a good dancer.”
