A gas explosion occurred in a building, resulting in damage to both the store and the residential area. The explosion severely affected both the store and the residential area. According to a resident who is friends with the family living in the house, people, including children, had been living in the residential area above the store. Fortunately, the children had left the building a few minutes before the explosion due to construction work. Gevorg Cherkezyan, the father of the family, is currently hospitalized with burns. He was the only one injured in the incident. The children are safe and staying with their grandmother.

“This is a house with the store on the ground floor. The explosion occurred around 11 pm. We heard a noise from the explosion and realized it had occurred here. Firefighters arrived within two minutes to extinguish the fire,” said a witness. Although the explosion caused damage, everyone managed to safely evacuate the building. Gevorg was the only one injured as he was in the store at the time of the explosion. According to the witness, they have been running this business since 2017 and safety regulations were believed to be ideal.
