“22nd International Festival ‘One Shot’ of Short Films to Showcase Global Talent in Yerevan”

With the support of the RA Ministry of Culture, the 22nd International Festival “One Shot” of short films will be held in Yerevan from June 7 to 14. The official opening and closing of the festival will take place at the Cinema House of the Union of Cinematographers of Armenia, and the screenings of the program will take place at the Artists’ Union Cinema Hall, which is also the organizer of the festival.

In total, 510 films have been submitted for participation in the 2024 festival. Seventeen countries, including Armenia, the USA, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Egypt, Ireland, Iran, Poland, Canada, Hungary, the United Kingdom, China, Russia, and France, will present 150 films in the competition.

The films will be divided into different categories. In the “One Shot – One Minute” category, there will be 112 films, with 100 of them coming from Armenia. The “Short Films” category will have 27 films, 6 of which are from Armenia. Lastly, the “Cinema Without Limits” category will feature 11 films, 3 of which are from Armenia.

The festival will also include the Art-Match section, which will showcase films by production companies and independent filmmakers. There will be discussions, master classes, meetings with invited artists and directors of the Armenian film industry, as well as opportunities for exchange of experiences and presentations.
