“Transport Minister Tigran Khachatryan to Lead International Administration for Central Asia and Eurasia Cooperation”

Transport Minister Tigran Khachatryan has accepted the proposal from various organizations including the European Union’s External Action Service, the Eastern Partnership of the European Neighborhood Policy, the Central Asian Region, and the Eurasian Economic Union. The proposal is for Khachatryan to lead the administration under the leadership of Mikhail Zibert, the chief executive officer of the Central Asia – Eurasia – Business Cooperation and EPPC.

The meeting was attended by Vasilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia. Maragos welcomed the Minister to Armenia and emphasized the importance of continuous development and expansion of Armenia-EU cooperation.

During the meeting, Tigran Khachatryan presented plans both in the short-term and long-term for improving housing conditions and ensuring the security and development of displaced persons from military operations.

The parties also discussed other mutual issues of interest.
