In the proposal of the planning company, there is no provision for a subway project as they focus on developing the main framework of the Academic city. During a meeting with journalists on June 5 at the Government Press Office, Zaneta Andreasyan, the Minister of Transport, Communication, and Information Technologies, mentioned that the subway is already functioning. They have received permission from the Prime Minister to travel by metro to that section, indicating that the subway line is operational. However, the speech is about the construction of the lecture hall, which is connected to the line and involves necessary works for the transport infrastructure. The subway project is a separate endeavor from the main framework, and the government is currently collaborating with an Italian transport company to implement the project in the near future,” the minister explained.
