The government committee on state revenue and operational monitoring has released the results of its activities from May 1 to May 31, which focused on preventing, detecting, and disclosing tax evasion, smuggling, and illicit enrichment. According to NEWS.am, a total of 4,508,210 AMD worth of products were transferred without proper financial documentation in 22 cases, violating the requirements of the RA Tax Code. The potential penalty for these violations is 11,000,000 AMD.

In addition, there were 20 cases of violations related to unregistered or unauthorized operations of pawnshops. The fines imposed for these violations of pawnshop regulations amounted to a total of 14,627,215 AMD, with a possible penalty of 9,011,663 AMD.

Furthermore, 13 cases involved violations related to gambling or gaming activities performed without a license, notification, permission, or within unauthorized areas. Additionally, personal belongings were used for commercial purposes without the necessary permission. The fines imposed for these violations totaled 12,240,000 AMD.
