China’s Ambassador to Armenia, Mao Nini, made clear during a press conference that China will not tolerate any interference in its internal affairs or any attempts to undermine its overall stability. According to Nini, China’s internal affairs are not open for criticism and its governance, national unity, and territorial integrity are to be respected. He also mentioned that the decision of whether to restore communication with Taiwan will be made by the Chinese people through peaceful means. Nini stressed the importance of the “One China” principle, as well as maintaining dialogue between China, the United States, and Taiwan to peacefully resolve differences. He emphasized the need to protect China’s sovereignty and avoid supporting actions that could destabilize the region and send incorrect signals to separatist forces.
