An online meeting was held between representatives of the UK and the Republic of Armenia to discuss trade and economic cooperation. The meeting took place in Ukraine and was focused on Armenia’s security.

The Armenian delegation consisted of the Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, Vladimiri Karapetyan, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yerevan, Andranik Aleksanyan, and Ara Marutyan, who oversees a system connected to the Palace of Armenia.

The main topic of discussion was the development of economic cooperation between the two countries, taking into consideration the impact of the war and the ceasefire, as well as the ongoing conflict’s implications. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for July, where bilateral economic cooperation will be further discussed with the participation of business delegates.

This meeting was seen as a significant step towards the growth and strengthening of trade and economic relations between Armenia and Ukraine.
