On June 4, the ruling party “Civil Contract” held a meeting of the Coalition Leadership, led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. During the meeting, they announced their decision to withdraw from the Coalition. Additionally, Karen Sarukhanyan has been confirmed as the head of the Gyumri Territorial Administration’s city organization.

The party has received resignation applications from citizens who are members of the coalition. Instead of having a combined Ararat-Gegharkunik Territorial Administration, separate Territorial Administrations will be formed in Ararat and Gegharkunik. Furthermore, the date for the selection of the Arabkir Territorial Administration has been determined.
