A rescue service in the Republic of Armenia has issued a warning about closed roads in the area. Specifically, near the village of Getapnyan in the Ararat province, a landslide has occurred on a detour road, resulting in the closure of the road for vehicles. The affected section is part of the Vanaadzor-Alaverdi-Ayrum-Bagratanashen road, according to the Transport Police. Drivers are advised to use the M-6 highway instead, which is the main international road and passes through M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri highways when traveling to the Georgia border. The M-4 Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Republic of Armenia border road from Dilijan to Ijevan is still open, but expect one-way traffic in some areas. The Khashtarak and Lusahovit villages serviced by the same road are currently closed.
