“Deadly Volcanic Eruptions Ravage Sri Lanka: 10 Dead, Schools Closed, Thousands Displaced”

The schools in Sri Lanka have been closed on June 3rd due to the release of harmful acids into the air and the discovery of toxic substances in the water. These hazardous materials have unfortunately led to the death of at least 10 individuals and have caused several others to become ill. Government officials have informed ABC that the impact of these incidents has resulted in over 400 houses being affected and more than 5000 people being displaced. The release of harmful gases from volcanic eruptions since May has been causing health problems for the residents of Sri Lanka. Additionally, the volcanic ashes have also had a detrimental effect on crops, leading to the death of livestock.
