On June 2nd, at 18:30, the emergency center of the regional administration of Kotayk received a distress signal regarding an accident on the Zarni-Sevaberd highway. The report stated that a truck had overturned, causing a traffic jam. The Regional Rescue Service of the NSS was immediately informed and their assistance was deemed necessary.

The incident took place near the Center for Crisis-Rescue Management of the Regional Rescue Service in Kotayk. It was determined that a truck, identified as a “Zil” brand vehicle driven by G. G., veered off the road at the second kilometer of the Zarni-Sevaberd highway. The truck collided with rocks and subsequently overturned. Unfortunately, the driver became trapped inside the vehicle. However, before the arrival of the rescuers, A. G. managed to escape the car with great effort and was taken to a nearby medical center.

The skilled rescuers utilized hydraulic tools to safely extract the trapped driver from the overturned truck. They also provided the necessary medical assistance to attend to any injuries sustained during the accident.
