“President Zelensky Accuses China of Assisting Russia’s Destabilization Efforts in Eastern Ukraine”

In a recent statement, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky accused China of aiding Russia in destabilizing Eastern Ukraine, according to reports from the Associated Press.

During a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Singapore, Zelensky claimed that China supported the actions of other countries and their leaders, preventing them from participating in peaceful negotiations. He stated, “Russia, utilizing Chinese propaganda both locally and among Chinese diplomats, is doing everything it can to escalate the conflict in Ukraine. It is unfortunate that a large and influential country like China is merely a tool in Putin’s hands.”

Zelensky also urged high-ranking security officials to actively protect the rights of Ukraine’s defenders, mentioning that certain barriers were preventing some countries from joining the coalition.

Secretary of Security of China, Dun Jun, expressed a heightened sense of urgency during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting, following Zelensky’s statement.
