Serzh Sargsyan, the third president of the Republic of Armenia, has expressed his condolences for the passing of Artur Chilingarov. Chilingarov was a prominent scientist and explorer of the North and South Poles. He was also an honorary diplomat of the Russian Federation and received the St. Mesrop Mashtots’ Medallion of Gratitude.
