The municipal government of Alaverdi organized a special opera performance to address the ongoing protests of environmental activists in Lori and Tavush provinces. The purpose of the event was to manage the situation in a systematic manner. Gnel Sanosyan, the spokesperson of the Alaverdi municipality, announced the performance on their official Facebook page. Sanosyan stated that several tasks have already been completed, such as cleaning the riverbed, providing food for the protesters, repairing damaged buildings, and registering the inventory of protesters. He also mentioned that new initiatives are currently underway.
