Yerevan Revamps Public Transportation Fleet: 171 New Buses and 8 Trolleybuses Added in 180 Days, More to Come

Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, is making efforts to improve its public transportation system by adding new buses and trolleybuses to its fleet. Within the next 180 days, Yerevan is set to receive 171 new buses and 8 new trolleybuses, with an additional 7 to be added by the end of this year. The aim of this program is to replace the current fleet of vehicles and make improvements to certain routes. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has announced the implementation of the program and has instructed the municipality to engage with the community for their input.

Furthermore, the city is actively engaged in the marking process. Despite facing some minor deviations from the planned schedule, the marking process is being carried out with high quality and is expected to be completed within the specified deadline.
