The Israeli government is actively working to quickly return prisoners to their families in order to bring peace to their lives. This was announced by the Prime Minister’s office in Israel, as reported by the “Segodnya v Izraile” portal.

According to the Prime Minister’s office, the Prime Minister has authorized a negotiating team to work towards accomplishing all objectives, including the return of all prisoners, with the assistance of the Armed Forces and government resources.

In a separate development, the President of the United States, Joe Biden, announced on May 31 that the US recognizes Hamas’ commitment to the 8-month ceasefire it had initiated in the Gaza Strip, as reported by CNN.

The US President presented three steps of the Israeli offer, emphasizing that “the time has come to bring an end to this conflict”.
