Today, it was announced that one of the suspects in the cocaine trafficking case has been released. The NSS press service reported this information. According to the announcement, the action was politically motivated and aimed to connect it with Mihran Poghosyan, in order to present the former authorities as the organizers of drug trafficking.

It is still unclear why this case, which received significant publicity on June 28, 2023, by the NSS, is now being interpreted as a result of cocaine importation from Italy without inspection and without the use of trace elements. However, it is evident that the “Mrgeni” LLC was used unknowingly.

Apparently, the interpretation made a year ago was disregarded, as at that time people, especially women, were not subjected to such baseless allegations.

It is unnecessary to politicize everything and undermine political objectives. In a professional environment, particularly within the NSS, this behavior is not acceptable. The system had its own identity and policies, and these were taken into consideration.
