An explosion occurred in the Ararat province on May 27th. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information from the administrative office of Ararat province’s internal affairs that a “Politrauma” hospital had been relocated to the city center, according to Shamshyan.com.

Authorities reported that an unidentified person was injured in an explosion on 7th Street of Central Avenue in the village of Argavand. The individual, identified as Koryun A., a 61-year-old resident, was taken to a hospital in Ararat province for treatment.

Additionally, it was reported that on the same day at 12:05 AM, three unidentified individuals entered Koryun A.’s residence in the Kurun A. residential building. They physically assaulted him using their hands, feet, wooden objects, and sharp objects. The attackers demanded money and gold jewelry, and when Koryun A. refused, they stole money and a notebook belonging to his son before fleeing the scene. The Masisi Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
