Public budget plays a vital role in the organization of our government. On May 29, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the significance of the 2023 state budget during discussions in the NA committees.

Pashinyan stressed the importance of understanding the purpose of the state budget. He questioned whether it is a tool to fulfill the interests of a privileged elite or a select group of officials who manipulate budget expenditures. Alternatively, should citizens contribute their work towards expenditures that promote historical justice and personal well-being? This fundamental question needs to be addressed.

Pashinyan emphasized that we must view the state budget as a means to live well and achieve sustainable development. The existence of the state budget is rooted in the desire to lead a good life. It is therefore crucial to engage in this discussion without any doubts.
