The national values ​​of the Armenian people, as announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the National Assembly, include the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Artsakh, self-defense, citizenship, leadership, and heritage. Pashinyan emphasized that heritage should serve as a tool for peace, rather than war.

According to Pashinyan, the national values ​​also encompass the history of Armenia, the Armenian people’s mentality, especially the epics, legends, and fairy tales, the Armenian language and script, and Armenian literary translation. He further highlighted the importance of the Armenian identity, homeland, family, nation, unity, the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Armenian Catholicosate, and the Armenian Evangelical Church, in addition to Christianity in general.

Pashinyan acknowledged that there are attempts to undermine these values, suggesting that certain important values are lacking. However, he expressed his belief that this does not reflect reality and should not be attributed to governance, as it is the responsibility of individuals within certain institutions to address any distortion of these values. He concluded his speech at the Armenian Apostolic Church.
