On May 29, the Minister of Security and Protection of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, had a meeting with Charles Fries, the Ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, Carmen Delfino Pronk, the Head of the Political and Security Committee of the European Union, and Mikhail Zibert, the Director of the Eurasian Integration and SCO Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation between Armenia and the EU in the field of security and protection, as well as address ongoing regional security issues.

During the meeting, the Minister presented the progress of reforms within the Armed Forces of Armenia.
