“Judicial System in Crisis: Nationwide Strike Rocks France as Dissatisfaction with Criminal Case Treatment Grows”

The national strike of the judicial system took place on Tuesday, May 28, in several cities of France. According to the source, the strike, organized by the judicial system and the operational group in parallel, has taken place in 12 cities of France, including Reims, Strasbourg, and Toulouse.

According to France 3, the strike has caused disruptions in the judicial system, with some members publicly expressing their dissatisfaction with the unjust treatment of criminal cases. Around 10 people have been arrested on Tuesday morning, including one of the arrested being Samuel Peti, a teacher accused of murdering a dissident journalist.
