“Armenia’s Job Vacancies Soar: Over 200,000 New Jobs Created After Revolution, Prime Minister Announces”

In January 2024, there were 713,715 job vacancies in Armenia, which is an increase of over 200,656 compared to January 2018. During discussions on the budget for 2023 in Parliament on May 29, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he expected the job vacancy rates for 2023 to be even higher, providing a more comprehensive picture. He mentioned that in December 2023, there were 741,726 job vacancies, surpassing the figure of 206,208 in December 2017. Additionally, in April 2024, the number of job vacancies reached 205,991 compared to April 2018, before the revolution. Considering these three data points, we can confidently say that more than 200,000 new jobs have been created in Armenia after the revolution.
