On May 28, the President of the Republic, N.S.O.T.T. Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and the delegation of the Armenian Apostolic Church visited the Sardarapat Memorial complex to pay tribute to the victims of genocide and participate in the commemorative ceremony. They were briefed on the ongoing restoration of the memorial complex and the progress of the construction works. These actions, carried out by the representatives of the clergy and believers, highlight the importance and international significance of the Armenian Genocide commemoration. May the Supreme Lord bless and protect our people, ensuring a secure and peaceful life for our society.

Earlier, we reported that the authorities, clergy, and noble figures expressed their deep gratitude to the Armenian Apostolic Church for its active involvement in the heroic struggles of the May heroes. They especially thanked Catholicos Karekin II for his visit to the Sardarapat Memorial, as it was necessary for coordination with Nikol Pashinyan, representatives of his administration, and parties of the “My Step” alliance.
