“Nawaz Sharif Set to Reclaim Leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N”

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, is preparing to once again lead his established party, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), as reported by Business Recorder. The PML-N’s central executive committee meeting will take place today in Lahore, where Nawaz Sharif’s election as the party’s head is expected. On May 11, Shahbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif’s younger brother, resigned from his position as the president of the PML-N, a role he held for several years. The latest edition of The News, published in February, announced changes in the leadership of the PML-N, stating that Nawaz Sharif will replace Shahbaz Sharif as the party’s president due to difficulties in managing the party’s political affairs after the dismissal of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
