The daily meeting of the operational headquarters established to manage the situation caused by the fire in the forests located in Lori and Tavush regions of Armenia took place at the Alaverdi Municipality. The meeting, organized in an emergency mode with the aim of managing the situation of the ongoing forest fires, was chaired by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Representative of the Prime Minister, reported this to NEWS.am. A Matveyance Forestry employee also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the actions carried out by the emergency situations’ responding officials were presented, including works such as cleaning the streets of Alaverdi town, registering the damages caused to the estates, and other ongoing tasks since early morning. Suren Papikyan was informed about the series of works related to the property assessment of the estates damaged by the fires. The Director of Water Supply Sewage CJSC informed about the ongoing works related to the restoration of the water supply system.

Afterwards, the Minister instructed to implement all the works operatively, if possible, in an accelerated pace and in a professional manner. Later, Suren Papikyan checked the M6 mother vishap (dragon) aquarium.
