“Armenian Bishop Declares Theme of Tavush Amidst Ongoing Protests and High-Level Participation”

Early in the morning, our hero, Mané Tandilian, was captured by the enemy during an important and significant operation. Today, on May 27th, Bishop Bagrat Srbazan announced the theme of Tavush in the courtyard of Surb Anna Church. He expressed the intensity of the ongoing conflicts and emphasized the unimaginable nature of the attacks from all directions.

It is worth noting that protests in Armenia have been ongoing for some time now, resulting in the closure of major highways such as Yerevan-Ashnak and Yerevan-Armavir. Archbishop Bagrat Galustanyan, the leader of the procession, took it upon himself to block these roads. Additionally, the crossroad of Avovyan-Sayat-Nova streets and several other streets, including Azatutyun, Mashtots, Tigran Mets, Koryun, Moskovyan, Terian, and Old Yerevan, have been closed off by other marchers.

Several high-ranking officials, including Minister of Defense Arto Sarkissian, Ashot Simonian, Igor Khachaturov, as well as singers Arsen Grigoryan, David Amalyan, and doctor Georg Tamamyan, are participating in the protests. The current number of protesters stands at 273.
